Six Senses hotel, residences in Austrian Alps
HOTELS Magazine
Six Senses has announced an alpine retreat in the Kitzbühel region in Austria. Open all year round, the Six Senses Kitzbühel Alps will offer 77 guestrooms and private residences, including 30 apartments and 10 villas. Residences will include two- to seven-bedroom apartments and villas with high ceilings and open living spaces that lead to oversized balconies and terraces. The residences will have a holiday home permit, allowing owners to have complete freedom on how they use their homes and permit non-EU citizens to purchase Austrian properties. Located amid a national park in the largest protected wildlife reserve of the Alps, the property will have ski-in and ski-out facilities. The property will also have a spa and wellness amenities. The property’s interiors will be designed by Martin Brudnizki, while IAW will lead architecture. The project is owned by Michael Staininger and is expected to open by the end of 2025.
